Ryan serves as the senior pastor of Redeemer Church. On August 16, 1999, God was merciful to Ryan, giving him eyes to see the glory of God in the face of Jesus. Ryan married Kelli in April 2002, and they have five children: Caleb (September 2009), Evie (June 2011), Silas (March 2013), Lily (March 2015), and Keira (October 2017).
Ryan is a preaching instructor for the Charles Simeon Trust and a certified counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. Before coming to Redeemer, Ryan served as associate pastor of Kenwood Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky, and pastoral intern of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, DC. He received a masters of divinity and masters of theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a bachelors degree from The University of Texas at Arlington.
