The Son of God came not to take but to give, and Jesus spent HIs life to give us all we could not have apart from Him, all that is His alone by right—God, a new family, life everlasting, righteousness, a crown, and more. Believers give to their churches in order to spread the Word and works of Christ locally and globally. Faithful, sacrificial giving is both an expression of our THANKSGIVING to God for sharing with us all that we have and also of our TRUST that God will continue to provide all that we need.
